R3R and Trim-Tex capture the 2025 wrl gto national championship
October 23, 2025
With 2 events remaining in the 2025 WRL season, the Round 3 Racing Trim-Tex Drywall Solutions Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup car has secured the 2025 National Championship in the GTO class. The most dominant season in WRL history currently stands at 10 wins, 2 seconds, and 1 third in the 13 scoring races for the R3R Porsche. No team has ever scored as many points as the #70 car in the history of the GTO class and there are still 4 points scoring races remaining. This unprecedented season has been made possible with skillful driving, perfect pit stops, and professional race strategy.
The 2025 drivers of the #70 Trim-Tex Porsche have included Joe Koenig, Cole Loftsgard, Josh Bilicki, Chris Paiz, and Zach Arnold. All of them have contributed tremendously to the success on track. While not always the fastest car, the #70 Porsche was always in contention for race wins and podiums because of consistent driving and flawless pit stops. Perfection is hard to achieve, but this team came as close as possible to it.
The season is not over yet. With 4 races remaining, the team is looking to win more races and complete a perfect season of 13 wins in 13 races. Something that has never been achieved in WRL competition. Joe, Josh, and Cole will pilot the Porsche for the remainder of the season and they look to celebrate their success along the way.
